Meet the band behind the music!

Orphic Illusion is a 5 piece Metalcore/Deathcore band from central iowa. Formed in October 2021, we were determined to share our message with the world. Shortly after forming the band we released our first single "Burn it Down", our EP "Building an Empire" soon followed. By 2025 Orphic Illusion's line up had gone through a series of changes. Yet, one thing that remains clear is the message we spread. Orphic Illusion is for the people. The people together are strong! Together we can change everything! Divided we change nothing!

Jesse Hernandez

Role: Singer/ Songwriter

Jesse has a passion for music and a drive for show business to match! Enjoys spending time with family, watching anime, and skateboarding.

Seth Hanson

Role: Bass/Back-Up Vocals

Seth is an energetic musician who loves to skateboard and play video games in his free time. His love for pop punk and metalcore bring a unique blend of sounds to the band

Grant Hendrickson

Role: Guitar

36 years ago he emerged from goo. A seasoned guitarist, Grant brings a technical aspect to our sound with his writing style. He is red/green colorblind and enjoys playing guitars that he thinks are purple.

Terry Coleman

Role: Guitar/ Back-Up Vocals

Came into the world when it was supposedly was supposed to end...1984. With a love for distortion and acting like an old fashioned grunt, he keeps the machine moving. Known to some as Scary Terry.
